ASEAN Trademark Seminar in Tokyo

We are delighted to invite you to our 2019 ASEAN Trademark Seminar in Tokyo.

Our top trademark experts from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia will provide you with their first hand insights into the latest developments in the region. We will also be covering recent developments in Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.

From our Tokyo office, Kensaku Takase – the head of our Tokyo IP group — and counsel Yosuke Takenaka will serve as moderators for the seminar. The seminar will be conducted in both English and Japanese and a summary of the key points in Japanese will be provided at the end of each session.

In this seminar, we will focus upon two main topics:

• Recent legal developments and/or trends regarding trademarks in ASEAN; and
• Challenges for trademark owners and consumers in the Global and on-line environment
