Our insolvency team members are experts at maximizing collections and successfully balancing the conflicting interests among stakeholders. At all times, we remain proactively involved in direct negotiations between debtors and stakeholders. We are also highly experienced with out-of-court workouts where the coordination with all parties is essential.
Representative experience
- Represented Yamato Life Insurance Company in corporate reorganization proceedings
- Represented a leasing company (creditor) on various issues related to several bankruptcy cases, including large-scale company rehabilitation and civil rehabilitation cases
- Represented and advised a number of financial creditors in relation to large and complex restructuring cases and workout cases
- Represented general trade creditors and bondholders in large-scale company rehabilitation cases
- Acted as a court appointed trustee in large-scale bankruptcy cases, supervisor in civil rehabilitation cases and individual rehabilitation commissioner
