Our Labor / Employment practice group provides quality legal services backed by a high standard of professional knowledge and broad experience. We are a full service team and regularly advise both local and foreign clients in Japan on all labor and employment issues, ranging from recruitment and hiring, discipline and performance management, to retirement and termination. Our work covers a broad spectrum of industries, including banking and finance, commercial and retail, media and technology.

Our strong cross-practice offerings also enable us to provide seamless advice to clients on M&A transactions and restructuring in collaboration with our Corporate / M&A practice group, on intellectual property, privacy, securities and tax issues in collaboration with our IP/ITC and Tax & Transfer Pricing practice groups, as well as on designing and implementing long-term incentive plans, such as stock options, in collaboration with our Capital Markets practice group.
