Representative Experience

  • Represented a Japanese food manufacturer in relation to establishing its first presence in the Middle East and in setting up subsidiary operations in Cairo to market its seasoning products.
  • Acted for a US data protection company on the proposed incorporation of its new Japanese subsidiary and in the establishment of an operating business in Japan.
  • Represented a US telecommunications company’s Japanese subsidiary in negotiations with Japanese joint venture partners with respect to the liquidation of the joint venture business.
  • Advised an international computer technology company on its corporate, immigration and tax law issues, including public company rules, with respect to a corporate governance reformation project, including replacement of the top executives, creation of new governing body and final decision-making at the client’s annual shareholders’ meeting.
