The power market in North America is always dynamic and constantly evolving. While the United States is leading the trend towards renewable and clean energy, Mexico is opening its power markets to private investors. It is very important to be up to date with the latest changes, challenges and opportunities.

At this special seminar, we invite two partners who are highly regarded specialists in the power sectors of the United States and Mexico to share the latest developments in each country. They will also provide insight on North America’s rapidly evolving energy sector.

The North America Power Update gives you the unique opportunity to:

  • Find out more about the US Clean Power Plan, wind farm investments and energy storage projects;
  • Understand corporate PPAs and US Yieldcos (and the effect of corporate parent bankruptcy) in the United States;
  • Learn about power generation opportunities and the newly introduced Mexican Wholesale Power Market and gain greater insight into the upcoming transmission grid tender in Mexico;
  • Understand the new business opportunities with CFE (Federal Electricity Commission) arising from the energy reform;
  • Participate in discussions with key lawyers in the energy sector in the United States and Mexico; and
  • Network with your peers.
